Wins For Veterans

With Wins for Veterans, we have created a network of competent and well-experienced veterans' lawyers who assist veterans in disability claims nationwide.  Our law firm will work collaboratively to assist veterans so that they can benefit from the best skillsets of a diverse group of legal advocates.  What exactly does this bring to the table?

  • Multiple lawyers on YOUR team
  • Combined perspectives on YOUR case from different law firms nationwide
  • Skillsets tailored to YOUR specific claim or appeal

It is a unique approach.  Rather than greedily keep every case for our eyes only, we welcome the efforts, perspectives, and resources of our network.  Why?  We want the best result for YOU.  This dynamic approach has proven to be successful.  We truly believe it increases the chance of achieving more wins for veterans.

Attorney Layi Oduyingbo, Esq., has successfully represented hundreds of military veterans with their claims for disability benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).  This has led to increased disability benefits and backpay for many deserved military veterans.  He is licensed to practice appellate litigation before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC or Court), and he is also accredited as an attorney by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

In 2015, Attorney Odu first started his advocacy for military veterans.  He quickly developed his skills and experience at a large law firm that is nationally recognized in Veterans Law.  Since then, Attorney Odu created his own law firm, ODU Law Firm, LLC, which continues to represent injured and disabled clients nationwide. He has collaborated with law firms from the East coast to West, and has represented veterans in the states in between.  Contact us to see how we can assist you with your appeal to the Board of Veterans Appeals (BVA or Board) or to the Court.

Withers v. Wilkie

Layi traveled to Washington, D.C. to serve as co-counsel for oral arguments in Withers v. Wilkie, 30 Vet.App. 139 (2018) (Docket No. 16-1543), which was argued before a panel of judges at the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC).  While a team effort, Layi had lead responsibility for drafting the appellate briefs and written legal arguments.  The case result was a successful appeal and a Court decision that set precedent and favorably impacted the law for veterans seeking total disability benefits nationwide.

Wins for Veterans is an initiative directed solely by ODU Law Firm, LLC and is not connected with any government agency, public or charitable legal services organization, or nonprofit organization. ODU Law Firm, LLC is a private law firm which assists disabled veterans in their claims for veterans' disability benefits nationwide by utilizing years of developed skills and experience, as well as its network of veterans lawyers and firms.
